]]> Green Star positioning JSC was contracted by Thien Nam Offshore Services (TOS) for the provision of underwater positioning and navigation services to support the subsea positioning of a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) based onboard the vessel Ashico Lam Son for project “Provision of engineering and execution of replacement of FPU DH01 anchor chains at Dai Hung field, block 05-1a, offshore Viet Nam”.

These services comprised of the provision of personnel, underwater positioning & navigation equipment to obtain request in SOW. This report on positioning describes the scope of work, methodologies and results during positioning and navigation during inspection.

The scope of work to be completed for scope of works for replacement of FPU DH01 chain 1P, 2P, 3P, 4P, 2S, 3S and 4S shall be, but in any case, not be limited to, the followings:

  • Disconnection the chains from DH01 FPU,
  • Hook up chain cables and anchors, inspection the anchors and renewal the chain cables,
  • Drop the anchor and lay down chain cables
  • Tensioning
  • Reconnect the chain to DH01 FPU
